more Hosea

What exactly are the birth pangs of the Messiah (hint: the answer is not in the video--just think about it.)
Also last week's lesson I missed posting.

Triple header!

I finished two lessons last week, one Hosea and another interesting study on Adam's rib.  Today I finished up the newest Hosea.  Enjoy!

Hosea lesson 3

Sorry for the long delay.  First there was the sound issue.  Then there was the caterpillar that bit me right next to my eye.  I'm almost totally recovered.
The slides from this lesson were made from the almost inaudible recording.  I dubbed in the lesson after I made the slides.  Which style of lesson do you prefer?

Hosea 2

Still reading in chapter 1.  The audio is better. Unfortunately, I tried another system for the following week and it is unusable.  I will make the slides and dub in all the info, so it's going to take a long time to generate.
But in the meantime, you can enjoy the current one.

Intermediate Hebrew - Hosea

The intermediate/advanced Hebrew class here is reading Hosea.  I made a recording of the class and generated some matching slides.  I think this will serve better than trying to film the class.

In this class, we read, translate, cover some grammar, related root words, and many tangents.

Is kiddush the same as communion?

I have been to a few Messianic/Hebrew roots places where kiddush is treated the same as communion in a normative Christian church.  What do you think?

one jew at the top of the world

Shalom from the ends of the earth.
I am in Aizawl India, scheduled to teach some Hebrew and Hebrew roots at Aizawl Theological College.
So I'm going to write on a separate blog of the doings here.  I had in mind to write every day, but they are having some issues getting me wifi in my apartment.  I can use my computer in the admin building, but it's not open all the time.
Anyway, if your interested in keeping up with this adventure you can go here: www.one-jew-at-the-top-of-the-world.blogspot.com  You can sign up to receive updates or you can check in as you like.  Eventually there will be pictures of this incredible place as well.
As always, I appreciate your prayers.
